About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a specialist architecture function operating within a complex Operational Technology environment across regulated critical infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution design across mission-critical systems, working in close partnership with Enterprise Architects, project delivery teams, and senior stakeholders. You will ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture across Operational Technology and SCADA environments
• Design, implement, and support infrastructure and software solutions across control room systems, asset management platforms, and OT/network environments
• Develop and maintain architecture artefacts in collaboration with Enterprise Architects
• Provide architectural governance and oversight across multiple projects and business units
• Engage, advise, and influence senior and executive stakeholders on architectural direction and design decisions
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor across programs to drive consistent, scalable, and enterprise-aligned design outcomes

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Solution Architect within large-scale infrastructure or complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end technology solutions across integrated systems and platforms
• Experience operating within regulated, operationally complex, or critical infrastructure environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement capability, with proven experience working across business, technical, and project teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in solution design, architecture governance, and delivery oversight across concurrent initiatives
• Sound knowledge of architecture principles and frameworks, including TOGAF or equivalent
• Background in large-scale infrastructure, OT, or enterprise technology environments highly regarded
